Southeastern announce extra train services for Hastings half marathon

Due to the Hastings half marathon, Southeastern has confirmed that it will be putting on additional trains and lengthening existing services to help get competitors to the start line at West St Leonards for 10:30 on Sunday 20 March.

The planned changes to the Sunday service include:

* 08:23 Charing Cross to Hastings calling additionally at West St Leonards at 09:56

* 08:25 Tonbridge to Tunbridge Wells to call additionally at Wadhurst (08:44), Etchingham (08:53), Robertsbridge (08:57), Battle (09:04), Crowhurst (09:08), West St Leonards (09:13), St Leonards Warrior Square (09:17), terminating Hastings at 09:21.

After the race, competitors and spectators will be able to take advantage of two additional train services from West St Leonards to Charing Cross at 12:15 and 13:14. There will also be two additional trains to Hastings departing West St Leonards at 12:16 and 13:16.

A spokesman said, “We are pleased to be able to help this event and ensure that the runners are able to get to and from the start line. We wish all competitors the best of luck.”
