Mott MacDonald makes it five years in a row in the Best Big Companies to Work For Awards

Mott MacDonald, for the fifth consecutive year, has ranked in the top 15 of the prestigious Sunday Times Top 25 Best Big Companies to Work For Survey. Listed 13th in the 2011 results, Mott MacDonald is the top ranked multi-disciplinary consultancy and engineering company on this year’s list.

The company was ranked second in the Giving something back category of the survey after scoring top marks for Protecting the environment and Making a difference in the world we live in.

Keith Howells, Mott MacDonald’s chairman said, ”To be voted by our staff as one of the Sunday Times Best Big Companies five years in a row is an excellent achievement for Mott MacDonald and demonstrates our ongoing aim to provide an exciting and rewarding environment for both working and learning.”

Mott MacDonald’s high ranking status on the list follows news that the consultancy has achieved the Best Companies One Star Accreditation for 2011. This recognises the company as having first class workplace engagement practices, including exceptional motivation, inspiration and staff retention levels.

The Best Big Companies survey is recognised as one of the UK’s most prominent surveys of workplace engagement and satisfaction based on the responses of over 230,000 employees across 964 companies. The survey examines the key components of a happy and successful workplace and evaluates each organisation’s key statistics, processes and policies. The survey involves employee participation as well as the completion of an organisation questionnaire.

The results were published in The Sunday Times on Sunday 6 March.
