Network Rail is once again inviting the best in business to put forward nominations for the annual Partnership Awards 2011.

Now in their third year, the awards recognise excellence and best practice across the railway industry, providing an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and dedication of Network Rail’s contractors and suppliers who have helped the company deliver thousands of rail improvement schemes across the country.

Nominations are open to all suppliers – organisations or individuals – who have worked with Network Rail from April 2010 to April 2011. Entries will be short-listed by a team of specialists from both Network Rail and external organisations. The winners will then be chosen by a final judging panel that includes senior directors from Network Rail with the winners being announced at an awards ceremony in London on 13 July 2011.

David Higgins, chief executive said: “These awards present an excellent occasion to honour, reward and recognise the individuals and organisations that make a real contribution to Network Rail’s success and in helping Britain run better.”

There are ten award categories that span a number of fields and themes including community engagement, environmental sustainability, heritage, IT, innovation, teamwork and safety.

More details about the awards and how to enter can be found here.
