Eglin Concourse International will exhibiting its range of platform seating at Railtex 2011, alongside other members of Rail Alliance in a special dedicated area in the centre of the hall.

For many years Eglin has been supplying seating solutions to stations worldwide and offers a stylish range of products suitable for both internal and external applications.

These are DDA compliant, meet ergonomic and anthropometric recommendations and are tested to meet British Standards for strength and stability.

On show will be the Eglin PS Outdoor Platform Seat Unit, finished in a durable thermoplastic polyurethane coating suitable for outdoor areas. It is installed at many stations across the UK and is regularly specified by TOCs.

Eglin’s PS Internal Seat Unit can also be inspected, ideal for interior waiting areas and offering passengers an extra level of comfort with the addition of upholstery seat pads in a hard wearing Moquette fabric, finished in polished stainless steel with integral end-table.

To complement these standard units, a wall-mounted Perch Seat Unit will be on display along with a new Iroko Wooden Slatted Bench, a recent addition to the range.

These products will demonstrate the different styles and finishes available but, with in-house facilities and expertise in this field, Eglin can offer a bespoke service, working with clients on an individual basis to provide a unique design to meet specific briefs.

Eglin will be exhibiting at Railtex next week on stand D61.
