Balfour Beatty Rail has been awarded a seven-year framework agreement with Network Rail National Delivery Service (NDS) for the supply of on-track machines.

It is a national contract, including tampers and ballast regulators, and over seven years is estimated to have a potential value of £110-£120 million.

Balfour Beatty Rail Managing Director, Peter Anderson, said:

“We are delighted that we have been awarded this seven-year contract and very much look forward to continuing our long-term relationship with Network Rail.

“The agreement further highlights the benefit in investing in new machines for the future and we are pleased to see our investment making such a positive impact to the infrastructure.”
