East Midlands Trains travel advice for Sunday 17 July

Listen to this article

On Sunday 17th July 2011 there will be changes to the normal service run by East Midlands Trains to London.

There are planned engineering works taking place as part of the Thameslink programme, affecting journeys to and from London St Pancras International.

The train operator has advised that ‘to avoid disruption’ passengers ‘may find it easier to travel in the late afternoon’.

The engineering works will extend journey times to and from London as no trains will be travelling past Luton.

This means there will be a rail replacement service running up until 14:30 between Luton, Luton Airport Parkway and London St Pancras International.

The engineering works are not expected to delay any services on Monday 18th July.
