National Express East Anglia has joined up with No.1 Traveller, the award-winning airport hospitality specialist, to allow all first class passengers on the Stansted Express use of the airport’s fast-track security and business express service at either lounge at Stansted Airport, which includes a selection of self-service food from the Pantry Table and soft drinks.

Guests in the lounge can take advantage of No.1 Traveller’s free Wi-Fi access, magazines and newspapers whilst the floor-to-ceiling view of the runway provides the ideal setting to unwind before departure.

Travelling on the Stansted Express means the journey from London to the airport is quick, convenient and stress-free onboard the fleet of brand new Class 379 Electrostar trains, with plenty of luggage space, Wi-Fi, extra-large seats and on most services, an on-board host serving a range of drinks, snacks and light refreshments.

In conjunction with the Department for Transport, National Express East Anglia has invested £155m in the fleet of new trains for Stansted Express as part of its service improvement plan.

Adrian Warren, Head of Marketing at Stansted Express, said:

“Whether you’re travelling from Stansted Airport on business or for a well-earned break, there’s no better way to travel.

“Now with brand new trains and award-winning lounge access, you really can get your journey off to a flying start with our new premium first class service.”

Paul Lawes, Head of Finance & Commercial at No.1 Traveller, said:

“We are delighted to be partnering with Stansted Express, offering their first-class passengers an enhanced travel experience before they jet off for business or leisure.

“Our aim is to extend the premium service already available on board the Stansted Express.”

Passengers can also upgrade to full lounge access for £7.50, which includes a dish from the kitchen plus alcoholic drinks for the bar.

Both offers are available at either of the two No.1 Traveller airport lounges at Stansted Airport.
