NXEA team wins prestigious award

National Express East Anglia’s Train Presentation team has received a prestigious ‘Investors in People Silver Award’.

The presentation of the award was made to the team by NXEA Managing Director Andrew Chivers at Liverpool Street station on Friday 29 July.

In achieving the Investors in People Silver Award, the team has demonstrated the qualities and performance needed to meet the required standards to qualify for the award.

This involved providing evidence of skills and knowledge development at all levels and management and staff training.

Investors in People has grown to be the UK’s leading people management business improvement standard helping to deliver improved performance to thousands of organisations.

The Silver Award, means the Train Presentation team has gone beyond the standard required for the initial Investors in People Award, meeting an additional 76 evidence requirements.

Train Presentation is the first team within NXEA to meet the exacting standards necessary to attain the Silver Award.

Andrew Chivers, Managing Director of NXEA said:
