Eurostar passengers facing delays following ‘power supply problem’

Due to a ‘power supply problem’ on the high speed line in the UK, Eurostar are currently anticipating delays of up to 2 hours to their services.

The high speed operator has advised passengers to check-in as normal but to also continue to check the website for further updates.

Trains were halted around 50 minutes ago either side of the Tunnel, with at least one train still inside it.

Southeastern trains have also been affected with delays into and out of Kent on the High Speed One line of at least 60 minutes.

For travellers who decide to cancel their journeys today, Eurostar say their tickets will be exchanged for travel for another day.
