Southco, a member of Rail Alliance, are exhibiting at MacroRail 2011 this Friday, 16 September.

The show is being held at the Long Marston Railway Storage Facility, south of Stratford upon Avon, and will see Southco demonstrating their innovative fast-track access solutions for the rail industry.

The company specialises in latching, locking, and electronic access and positioning controls for both rolling stock and infrastructure companies.

Southco are widely recognised as global experts in the supply of the next generation of engineered access hardware technologies for exterior and interior rail applications.

Southco’s tried and tested E3 ‘Vise Action’ compression latch will be on display with a variety of actuation mechanisms.

The unique technology of these latches prevents panels from opening accidentally or through constant vibration and also have visual indicators for open/closed positions.

Also on display will be Southco’s cost effective, easy-to-configure and install fixed and adjustable-grip cam latches which are widely used within the railway sector.

Visitors will be able to see for themselves how Southco’s range of hinges and positioning control mechanisms are designed to provide improved quality to the feel of key touch points, such as LCD screens, drop-down tables, headrests and armrests.
