Mapping, survey and machine control specialists Korec are exhibiting at this year’s MacroRail event on Friday 16 September.

The Korec team will be on hand throughout the day to talk through their complete rail portfolio which also includes their speciality in the provision of construction within the rail industry.

On their stand will be a Trimble R8 GNSS, a range of Trimble’s GPS mapping and data collection systems for vegetation control and asset management and also Trimble’s optical and GPS Site Positioning Systems.

Korec will be running a series of demonstrations during the day on three of their systems:

  • GEDO Vorsys – a user friendly system featuring two track measurement devices to speed up the measuring process when used in conjunction with a Tamper.
  • SenseFly swinglet CAM – an unmanned flying camera for aerial mapping projects that can be launched by hand and weighs less than 500g, making it ideal for route planning and checking track-side vegetation.
