Demikhovsky Engineering Plant (a part of CJSC Transmashholding) has supplied LLC Aeroexpress with ED4MKM-AERO EMU cars.
The cars were handed over to LLC Aeroexpress two months early.
12 ED4MKM-AERO cars were delivered to the LLC Aeroexpress, which is the only operator to run services between the main airports of Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Sheremetyevo in Russia.
The batch, produced at DMZ, consists of 6 motor and 6 trailer passenger coaches.
LLC Aeroexpress intends to use the additional cars for EMU trains between Moscow’s rail stations and airports, in order to increase passenger capacity on the route.
JSC DMZ has been working with Aeroexpress since 2007.
56 coaches, composed of 7 EMU trains, were produced at the plant in the period from 2008 till 2009.
