Southeastern announces more trains for Bromley North

Southeastern has confirmed that from 11 December there will be additional off-peak services between Bromley North and Grove Park.

The changes are being introduced following a consultation with local stakeholders including Bob Neil, MP for Bromley and Chislehurst, James Cleverly, London Assembly Member for Bexley and Bromley, London Travelwatch, local councillors and user groups.

Bob Neill MP for Bromley and Chislehurst said:

“I welcome Southeastern’s decision to increase the frequency of this popular shuttle service. The change comes at a time when Bromley’s public transport networks must keep pace with demand and the exciting re-development of the town centre.

“I have no doubt that this new timetable will make a noticeable difference for many local residents.”

Responding to passenger feedback, Southeastern will now be providing a service every 20 minutes, as opposed to the current half hour service.

The changes will help improve connection times at these stations. The trains will depart Grove Park at xx.15, xx.35 and xx.55 past the hour.

Trains will depart Bromley North at xx.05, xx.25 and xx.45 past the hour.
