National Express celebrates ‘Investors in People’ Awards

Train operator National Express East Anglia (NXEA) is celebrating after receiving three further ‘Investors in People’ Awards.

Simon Wright MP visited Norwich station recently to present the catering, customers services and customer relations teams with their ‘Investors in People’ awards.

In achieving the ‘Investors in People’ award, the teams have demonstrated the qualities and performance necessary to meet the exacting standards of the award.

This involved providing evidence of skills and knowledge development at all levels, including staff and management training.

Investors in People has grown to be the UK’s leading people management business improvement standard helping to deliver improved performance to thousands of organisations.

Andrew Goodrum National Express East Anglia’s Customer Services Director said:

“l am really pleased that National Express East Anglia has been awarded three further Investors in People Awards.

“The catering, customer services and customer relations teams have all put in a lot of work to meet the rigorous criteria necessary to qualify for the awards and I would like to congratulate them on their achievements.

“We’re delighted Simon Wright MP could join us to celebrate the awards.”
