Infrarail got off to a fantastic start yesterday as it opened its doors to hundreds of exhibitors and visitors alike from the rail industry.

Infrarail, the definitive exhibition of products and services for the rail infrastructure market in the UK, is taking place at Hall 3 (just minutes walk from Birmingham International station) of the NEC in Birmingham from 1-3 May 2012.

View the video from the opening day here and be sure to come back tomorrow for a round up of day two.

Day one saw RT Hon Theresa Villiers MP speaking about the Government’s priorities for rail in the next few years. She also visited many stands, including Rail Media’s, to talk to exhibitors about their products and technology.

The rail engineer is holding technical seminars over the next two days, with speakers ranging from Howard Smith from London Rail to Simon Kirby from Network Rail.

Make sure you visit us on stand D20 for your free copy of the rail engineer and RailStaff, and have a chat with our friendly team.
