Operator to run extra trains for Hampton Court Flower Show

South West Trains has announced it will run extra services to and from the Hampton Court Flower Show.

Next week thousands of keen gardeners from across the globe are expected to travel to  Hampton Court Palace, Surrey, where the world-famous flower show will take place from July 3-8.

South West Trains has announced it will run extra trains to and from Hampton Court station, providing four trains an hour at peak travel times.

Tim Shoveller, managing director of the South West Trains/Network Rail alliance, said: “The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show is the largest annual event of its kind in the world and is just one of many high profile global events that takes place on the South West Trains network.

“We are adding extra services to make travel as convenient as possible for visitors.

“We look forward to welcoming show visitors on our trains next week and hope they enjoy this spectacular event.”
