Second Avenue Subway construction update

With tunneling work nearing completion on the Second Avenue Subway project, MTA has released new images of the new underground line’s progress.

The photos show crews lining the tunnel at the site of the new 72nd Street Station.

The Second Avenue Subway project will include a two-track line along Second Avenue from 125th Street to the Financial District in Lower Manhattan.
