Hamburg-based issuing house Paribus Capital has ordered two new Vectron locomotives to add to its portfolio of rental rail vehicles.

Having received its unlimited homologation for Sweden in May, the Vectron locos will be immediately put into service in Sweden following a handover in December.

A private operator has agreed a three-year lease for the vehicles to operate passenger services in Sweden, with an option to extend for another three years.

The Vectron AC locomotives feature a maximum tractive power rating of 6,400 kW and a top speed of 200 km/h.
