The Docklands Light Railway (DLR) has recorded its best-ever punctuality and performance scores.

Between January and February, the DLR achieved a 99.67 per cent punctuality and ran 99.77 per cent of scheduled services – the highest recorded figures in the system’s 26-year history.

Transport for London’s director of the DLR, Rory O’Neill, said: “The DLR continues to deliver to its passengers one of the most reliable and punctual rail services in Britain.

“This performance was made possible by a continuous and sustained effort by all staff and we will continue to strive to improve performance even further.”

Serco Docklands managing director Kevin Thomas said: “This is a phenomenal result and a true demonstration of our commitment to making every journey matter for DLR’s passengers.”
