Belarusian Railways has announced plans to launch a new cross-border passenger service with Poland in December.

The new service will call at Minsk, Grodno, Bialystok, Malkinia and Warsaw, transferring at Grodno.

Departing Warsaw at 06.26, the train will arrive at 14.20 in Grodno where passengers can connect to Minsk.

Belarusian Railways said there would be a fixed fare on the route to ‘increase competitiveness’.

  1. Full-service trains with modern up-to-date equipment attracts riders. Outdated equipment with change-of-train requirements mid-route are far less effective. If the “through” trains to Moscow can avoid the change-of-trains, the same arrangements can be made for this new schedule to make it fully successful.
