To help celebrate the wedding of the year, Southeastern will be running extra services on Friday 29 April to help get spectators to the wedding on time.

Passengers will also be able to save money by taking advantage of a 20% discount on off-peak tickets bought online.

With large numbers of passengers expected to travel to London, Southeastern will be running a Saturday timetable and two extra high speed services: 07.44 from Dover Priory and the 06.53 from Margate.

A Southeastern spokesman said:

“There is growing excitement around the country as the wedding approaches and we want to make sure that passengers will be able to get to London quickly and easily.

“We are expecting that the services will be busy, especially in the morning, so would advise that you allow plenty of time. It is great that this also coincides with our 20% discount offer so it will be even easier.”
