Unipart Rail recently presented a cheque to the Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice in North Anston, Sheffield.
On behalf of the Doncaster staff at Unipart Rail, George Tillier, General Manager for Unipart Rail Doncaster, presented the cheque to Rachael Dawes, Area Fundraiser at the hospice.
George said: “We are delighted to be able to present this cheque to such a worthwhile charity. I visited the hospice last month and was very impressed with the dedication and care provided by the team at Bluebell Wood to all the local children and their families in their care.
“This hospice receives no statutory funding and therefore relies solely on the contributions of supporters.”
The money was raised by the Unipart Rail staff in December by running a Christmas raffle, and through holding a mini carol concert.
Rachael Dawes, Area Fundraiser for Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice kindly wrote and said:
“I just wanted to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you on behalf of Bluebell Wood for the donation of £640.00 that you donated to the hospice.”
