On-street testing has begun in Atlanta ahead of the launch of the city’s new light rail system later this year.
Siemens-built S70 trams will began a programme of dynamic testing on the 4.4-kilometre route on August 15.
During testing, the LRVs will be towed a low speed between the $92 million network’s 12 stops to check clearances.
