Vossloh has presented its 100th G6 locomotive to Captrain Deutschland at Innotrans 2014 – six years after the shunting locomotive made its first appearance at the show.

The locomotive is the first of six ordered by Captrain and Vossloh’s 100th G6 locomotive in total.

Captrain Deutschland, a subsidiary of SNCF Geodis, placed a firm order for six shunters, with an option for two more, in July 2014.

The remaining triple-axle vehicles will be shipped to Captrain by 2015, Vossloh has said.
