First Great Western has stepped in to help make the Cotswolds a more welcoming place for the many Japanese tourists who visit the region every year.
The train company has installed information signs in Japanese around the station, after noticing that many Japanese passengers were confused upon arriving at the popular village by train.
The signs not only help with train information, but give directions to hotels and bus stops.
It is estimated that over 50,000 Japanese tourists visit the Cotswolds every year and an exhibition held in Osaka last year, about British culture, saw the Japanese spend £1.5m on products relating to the Cotswolds in just 10 days.
