Atkins has again triumphed in the Recruiter Awards 2011, claiming the Best Recruitment Team category.

It’s the second success in a row after also claiming the prize last year; Atkins is the only organisation to win an award two years running.

In awarding the prize, judges commented that Atkins impressed with the clear and robust evidence-based entry:

“It is the passion of the team and their desire to attract the best talent to Atkins, while at the same time enhancing the candidate experience, which sets it apart from the extremely tough competition.”

Chris Marsh, Atkins’ Director of Resourcing and Policy, said:

“We are proud to receive this award for the second year running. Attracting and selecting the best candidates is critical for our future success and can give real competitive advantage.

“Our focus is to provide the best possible service to business managers whilst also giving a positive recruitment experience for potential staff. To receive this recognition of the contribution we have made is great news.”

Irish stand-up comedian and TV presenter Dara O’Briain presented the award during a prestigious celebration at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London last week.

Other shortlisted companies in this category included McDonald’s Restaurants, William Hill, Diageo and Network Rail.

Atkins has recently been appointed technical adviser to the Department for Transport for the InterCity West Coast franchise replacement programme.
