Whenever I see a Gatwick Express train it appears empty . The fares for this short trip into London are extortionate and all Londoners I know use the stopping trains [not cheap either] . God help tourism in the UK when tourists have to put up with Gatwick airport followed by a train. .
Just checked the website to find a first class anytime single is £23 !!! For some odd and strange reason the return is £50 !!!??? Typical needless to say I won’t be using this service as using my car is much better in every respect .
