Gatwick Express, the non-stop rail-air link between central London and Gatwick Airport, has enhanced its First Class service by offering free access to a No.1 Traveller airport lounge for First Class Return passengers purchasing online.

Having teamed up with No.1 Traveller, the UK’s award-winning independent airport lounge operator, Gatwick Express travellers who purchase a First Class Return ticket online will receive free entry into a No.1 Traveller lounge, at Gatwick Airport’s South or North Terminal.

David Metherell, Marketing Manager for Gatwick Express, said:

“As a premium service, we wanted to add to our First Class experience and reward our customers who buy their First Class Return tickets online.

“One of our ongoing initiatives is to encourage online purchases and with access to new state of the art airport lounges, it really is the best way to buy a Gatwick Express ticket. Now the airport is as relaxing as the journey there.”

Howard Ebison, General Manager – Commercial for No.1 Traveller, said:

“Our award winning lounges offer Gatwick passengers first class facilities, so we’re delighted to be partnering with Gatwick Express to enhance its First Class experience.

“Entry to a No.1 Traveller lounge at Gatwick is normally £25 per adult, so this represents a great deal for First Class passengers who buy their tickets online in advance of travelling.

“With complimentary food and drink, along with free Wi-Fi and panoramic views over the runway in the South Terminal lounge, and the addition of a Travel Spa, mini-cinema and games rooms in our new lounge in the North Terminal, our lounges mean Gatwick Express First Class customers can get their journey off to a flying start.”

To experience No.1 Traveller’s new, world class facility at the North Terminal or enjoy the dramatic views from the airport’s highest vantage point at the South Terminal, visit the website to book a First Class Return.

  1. Whenever I see a Gatwick Express train it appears empty . The fares for this short trip into London are extortionate and all Londoners I  know use the stopping trains [not cheap either] . God help tourism in the UK when tourists have to put up with Gatwick airport followed by a train. .

  2. Just checked the website to find a first class anytime single is £23   !!!   For some odd and strange reason the return is £50  !!!???   Typical   needless to say I won’t be using this service as  using my car is much better in every respect .
