Gioconda’s stand at Railtex will feature some of its latest projects that are utilising high definition (HD) video and full 3D virtual models to assist with such requirements as signal sighting, detailed design and constructability, driver briefing and such like.
The company’s staff will be on hand to explain how they produce models and can give a brief tutorial on how to use the material for specific projects including train lengthening, resignalling, remodelling, new layouts and electrification.
On display will be a typical camera set-up showing how Gionconda manages to achieve a viewpoint near to the driver’s position, as well as controlling the recording from the second man’s seat.
The stand will be packed with 3D and HD visual material which is sure to attract the eye of any onlooker.
