Translink NI Railways passengers can now enjoy even better value for money when they travel by train in the evenings.

With the return of Translink’s Rail Nights Out campaign running until November 30, passengers can take advantage of both a third-off day return train tickets and exclusive money-off deals in a range of entertainment, shopping, food and drink outlets across Northern Ireland.

Translink’s Lynda Shannon says the offers are designed to make it more affordable and enjoyable to get out and about:

“Rail Nights Out is packed with tempting offers that make travelling by train in the evenings a great value and hassle-free way to enjoy all that Northern Ireland has to offer this Autumn.

“With our fares frozen at last years levels until next year, we want to remind commuters that using our rail services could help them save money in these austere times, also reducing weekly car fuel costs.

“As well as offering a third-off day return train tickets, we have teamed-up with 29 Rail Nights Out partners all easily accessible by train including top restaurants, cinemas, shopping centres and entertainment venues.

“Our special deals give people plenty of choice for a fun night out whether it’s 2 for 1 cinema admission or 25% off food bills, Rail Nights Out means people can enjoy more for less simply on production of a valid Translink NI Railways ticket.

“Travelling by train also means you can make more of your time, relax and avoid the hassle of driving,” said Lynda.
