A man proposed to his girlfriend on a packed London Overground train where he and a choir serenaded her.

The 19:57 London Overground service to Watford Junction turned out to be the perfect place for Adam’s proposal as he ‘wanted it to be quite intimate’ but knew he wanted to do ‘some kind of flashmob’, he told the Evening Standard.

Commuters were stunned as one by one, people began singing Bill Withers’ Lovely Day, moving through the carriages towards Adam King and his girlfriend Lucy Rogers.

Adam sought the help of his choir to deliver the unforgettable proposal, as he then got down on one knee.

The YouTube video of the proposal has gone viral and commuters can be seen clapping and cheering when Lucy burst into tears and said yes.
