On Thursday 24th November, St Pancras officially welcomed the world’s tallest LEGO Christmas tree into the station.

The unique tree was built and installed by Duncan Titmarsh of Bright Bricks, the UK’s only LEGO Certified Professional.

It stands at 10 metres high and is made entirely out of LEGO bricks; 600,000 to be exact.

Children from Edith Neville Primary School, Copenhagen Primary School and the Harpenden Explorer Scouts Unit made the 1,200 LEGO baubles on the tree.

The tree is so tall it reaches up through to the upper level of the station where the platforms are, meaning people can see the tree as soon as they step off their train.

The tree will remain at the station until the 2nd of January.
