Crossrail project to be discussed at annual Hopley lecture

The South Midlands Mining & Minerals Institute and the Minerals Engineering Society will be hosting their prestigious annual Hopley lecture on 19th January at the Willesley Park Golf Club, Ashby de la Zouch, Leicestershire at 7-7.30pm.

The keynote speaker will be Charles Devereux, Head of Rail Operations for Crossrail, who will talk about the history, challenges, engineering and future of the project.

The lecture, which is open to the public and free to attend, will be rounded off with a free buffet.
