Transys Projects Limited has become Vossloh Kiepe UK Limited following the German firms takeover in June.

The Birmingham-based rail engineering specialists began trading under the new name on October 1.

Vossloh Kiepe UK’s managing director Graham Roberts said: “This is an exciting time for all of us at Vossloh Kiepe UK and our decision to re-brand has been warmly welcomed by our customers, staff and suppliers.

“We can confirm that our core business activities will remain the same and we will continue to provide a first-class service to our customers. To complement our existing strengths, we are bringing in the additional expertise and skills of our parent company.

“As part of the Vossloh Kiepe family we had an excellent presence at this year’s International Trade Fair for Transport Technology, InnoTrans, where we met and engaged with some of the most important figures in the global rail industry. With this European strength behind us, Vossloh Kiepe UK has a lot to offer the UK rail industry.”
