Queen guitarist Brian May is to perform alongside West End star Kerry Ellis at St Pancras in aid of wildlife conservation.

The pair will appear together in front of 6pm rush-hour commuters tomorrow (March 1) to kick off a three-week campaign to protect tigers in the wild.

The fundraising and awareness initiative has been set up by the Born Free Foundation and the Environmental Investigation Agency (EIA).

Brian May said: “This is a wild scheme – part of a last-ditch attempt to save these magnificent wild animals.  We will pitch ourselves into the Gothic public space in St Pancras International on March 1, and hopefully make an impact on commuters.

“Tigers are on the verge of extinction – our grandchildren may never have the chance to see one. This is a real chance to gather support, address the issue, and avoid an imminent tragedy.”
