The first of 60 new Å koda trams for the Turkish city of Konya has rolled off the assembly line.
Konya’s new fleet of bi-directional trams are capable of carrying 364 passengers and will operate in five-car configurations.
Testing will now be completed in Konya before the trams go into operation.
Å koda Transportation said the design of the new vehicles was inspired by Islamic architecture and the city of Konya itself.
