AnsaldoBreda has been contracted to maintain high-speed and regional trains for Italian operator Trenitalia.
The manufacturer has signed two maintenance contracts worth around €100 million, including a three-year deal to provide the maintenance and overhaul services for the ETR 500.
AnsaldoBreda, which is in the process of being sold by parent company Finmeccanica, has also signed a five-year contract to maintain the new fleet of double-deck CDPTR regional trains.
