SBB renews university research partnership

Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) has extended its research partnerships with the universities ETH Zurich and EPF Lausanne.

The cooperative agreement, which has been in place since 2009, has been extended by a further five years.

Each university will receive CHF 150,000 from SBB per year to fund a range of research topics designed to develop innovative solutions for the Swiss rail network.
