Catalan joint venture awarded Porto operating concession

Transports Ciutat Comtal (TCC), a company part owned by Barcelona Metro operator TMB, has been awarded a 10-year operating concession for Porto’s urban rail network.

In partnership with Moventia, TMB will operate the city’s six light rail lines, which stretch for 67 kilometres around the city.

The concession includes operation and maintenance of the network.
