Keolis has reported a 9.3 per cent increase in revenue in 2014 to €5.6 billion following several major contract wins.

A €473 million boost in revenues has been backed up by a 15.4 per cent increase in EBITDA to €323 million.

Keolis also carried out a substantial recruitment drive in 2014, employing 6,900 new members of staff around the world.

New contracts in the UK included the Thameslink Southern and Great Northern (TSGN) franchise, which it now operates with Go Ahead, and the Docklands Light Railway (DLR), the first operating contract in the country in which Keolis is a majority shareholder.

Looking to the remainder of 2015, Keolis is launching its first operation in India, with the Hyderabad Metro, and is targetting opportunities in the Middle East and China.
