Moscow Metro names rail supplier

Evraz has won a five-year contract to supply around 60,000 tonnes of rails to Moscow Metro.

The Russian steelmaker will make rails and track switches for Moscow’s urban rail network, including 100-metre lengths.

Evraz has supplied rails to metro systems across Russia, including in Saint-Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Samara, Novosibirsk and Nizhniy Novgorod.
