Denver Transit Partners (DTP) have launched electric commuter rail services between Denver Union station and Westminster.

It will take just 11 minutes for passengers in Westminster to travel into Denver using the B Line link, which opened on July 25.

The line is only the second electric commuter railway to open in Denver: The first was the A Line to Denver International Airport which opened in April.

Built and operated by Denver Transit Partners (DTP), the line is part of the Eagle P3 public-private partnership (PPP) project.

There are plans to extend the line from Westminster to Longmont. However, the line to Longmont would not be electrified.
