CAF to supply more Algiers Metro trains

CAF has received an order from Algiers to supply 12 new six-car trains for the city’s metro.

CAF said manufacturing of the new Inneo vehicles had already started.

This is the company’s third rolling stock contract in Algeria and the second for the Algiers Metro. CAF previosuly supplied 14 trains for Line 1.

Line 1 of the Algiers Metro – the system’s one and only line – opened in 2011 and has recently been extended from Haï El Badr to the El Harrach Centre.
