The Talgo Series 7 trains were the first to be designed specifically for high-speed lines.

They can reach speeds of up to 220km/h but after conversion into high-speed trains, they will be capable of travelling at 330km/h.

Talgo said that the contract “reinforces its leadership in the very high-speed Spanish rolling stock market”.
