SNCF, on behalf of the Greater Paris public transport authority Ile-de-France Mobilités, has agreed a €96 million contract with Bombardier for nine Regio 2N trainsets.

The deal is an option contained within a 2010 contract for a maximum of 860 trains which SNCF signed on behalf of the regions.

The Regio 2N is a spacious double-deck train with air conditioning, dynamic passenger information screens and power outlets for mobile devices.
