FAST is one of three consortia that were selected by the Arriyadh Development Authority to build a metro network that would be 176km-long and include six lines. Its €5.8 billion share covers the Yellow, Green, and Purple lines – also known as lines 4, 5 and 6.
The metro trainsets, all of which are expected to be delivered by the end of 2018, are produced at Alstom’s factory in Katowice, Poland.
