A record number of 25 teams took part in the European TramDriver Championships in Stuttgart, with a team from Stockholm taking the title of ‘Best European Tram Driver’.

On May 5, 25 teams from 19 different countries were tested on their spatial awareness, braking skills and ability to judge distances across six different disciplines – including the popular tram bowling.

Organisers said that more than 66,000 spectators followed the championship through an online stream.
