Arriyadh Development Authority has awarded Capital Metro COmpany the 12-year operation and maintenance contract for lines 1 and 2 of the Riyadh Metro.

The contract is fully financed by IDF Mobilités and covers a maximum of 1,000 cars (183 trains) in three and six-car configurations. 

The start of services on the Hong Kong section means that passengers from Hong Kong are now able to connect to 44 mainland destinations using more than 25,000km of high-speed railways.
