Turkish transport authority places €7.5m tram order

The Turkish city of Samsun has agreed a deal with Chinese rolling stock manufacturer CNR Tangshan Railway Vehicles to add five new trams to its current fleet.

Samsun Metropolitan Municipality held a special signing ceremony for the 7.5 million euro contract, which requires delivery of all vehicles within the next 14 months.

The deal includes a two-year maintenance agreement.
