Advice for East Midlands Trains passengers travelling to/from London on 28 August

There are changes to East Midlands Trains’ services on Sunday 28 August 2011.

‘Essential’ engineering works will be taking place on Sunday 28 August, as part of the Thameslink programme, affecting journeys to/from London St Pancras International.

To avoid disruption passengers may find it easier to travel in the late afternoon on Sunday 28 August, the train operator said.

On Sunday 28 August up until 14:30 if you are travelling to/from London you will need to change service at Luton Airport Parkway.

After 14:30 East Midlands Trains services will run direct to/from London and operate at two trains per hour.
