DB Netz has licensed SBB’s own traffic management system for use on the German national rail network.
From 2019, DB Netz will use SBB’s in-house Rail Control System (RCS) to manage its 33,000-kilometre network.
RCS, which is also used by the Belgian infrastructure manager Infrabel, will help monitor and optimise train movements across the network.
